Who cares about Pietrus demanding a trade? Just keep him and let him walk. He'll play hard the 2nd half of the season trying to up his free agent money. Why add another dumb player that'll provide even less than Pietrus? And we do not need another chucker on this team. No way.

1 scrub for 2 scrubs. This is a meaningless trade on all levels.

I dunno. I'd be concerned that whoever we cut loose to clear a roster spot might be more meaningful than any player in the trade.

For example, if we were to throw in Croshere, I'd argue he's potentially more useful than Pietrus, Dixon, or Graham. That's sad.

Wait a sec, I thought all three players were expiring contracts, but Joey is signed next year.

In that case, hell no to this deal.

Okay, now this is funny. A friend just pointed this out to me on ESPN's new Beta Trade Machine:

Apparently if we make this trade, French Sexy vaults the Raptors into the league's elite, and losing him crushes us and dooms us to the lottery.

Could be worse. When I put Dixon into the trade exception instead of Graham, both teams were likely to finish the year 0-82. Now that is a bad trade.

Yeah, us getting Pietrus would help a lot more than you moving him, that's for sure.

You know how gay this would be if this is the only move we make before the trade deadline?

Joey Graham might actually be more useless than Pietrus... hes the only wing that has a higher F/48 rate...

Graham's best moments have only been comparable to Pietrus' bad games. Dixon.....is a undersize sg..so what's that worth? Maybe avg 3 min a game?
If Toronto wants a rotation player....send us a rotation player or SOME incentive. a 1 for 2 means yet another buyout....about 9 in 2 seasons? I'm sure Cohen likes paying those ghosts.

The Collective Agreenent won't allow a team to pay $3.5 mill to Sacks of Fruit Juice as a loophole to do a trade---Sacks of Horsecrap? Well...technically those guys ARE players.

In the "Old Times" you could trade Pietrus for 3 cases of Anchor Steam...which would be better than Graham + Dixon.
