I don't think Petrie will trade Ron for 2 reasons:
1) The offers he's getting right now sound like (based on the rumors) pure garbage that really won't help the Kings.
2) With the Bibby trade the Kings will be far enough under the luxury tax that they can take back matching deals for Artest in a S&T without going into the tax.
I think the only way we trade Ron now (other than him demanding 1) is if the Kings either unload another contract with him (Moore, Thomas, Miller, or Abdur-Rahim) or unload 1 of those contracts in another deal. If we unloaded 1 of them we'd have cap space without Ron meaning we'd have no intention (most likely) of resigning him or even looking for a S&T (as we'd have to take back salary)

More talented and better in certain areas. But not enough to be a title contending team, though. There are still a number of other lacking areas on that team.
Hell, they may not even make the playoffs with how tough and stacked the west is. Denver's probably going to be a low-seed, too, if they do make it.
The Playoffs don't care about your Analytics

I suggest you ask somebody with access to Insider...
And see if Keith or I break news before it hits the media.
Actually, I broke the Iverson trade on RealGM with Sixerfan...shame too, that I duped everybody on RealGM. lol

The Iverson trade was everywhere. But you have a good business model -- just trust that people are stupid.

100% disagree. I've been a reader on Eze's site for a long time, and he reports things before they happen all the time. Besides, you don't HAVE to sign up for Insider, and even if you do, it's only $2.50 per month. Even if it's all BS, I'd gladly play that much for something entertaining to read!

All you need to get this stuff right once in a while is some imagination and an RSS feed. I have posted Artest to the Spurs threads, what I should have done was said people were "discussing it" and that it was "on the table" and when it happened people would think I'm a genius. If it didn't, I'd just say it "fell through." It's not very complicated.

Lol, anybody who knows Sixerfan knows he's a longtime Insider and anybody who knows me from ESPN knows the same thing.
I tell you...that $2.50 charge a month...it's bought me a few homes in Costa Rica, along with my yacht...and I can't forget about my car collection. lol
I could care less if you don't believe me...no reason to slander my name though.
Enough people know I have information before the mainstream media gets it.

Thank you.
Now I'm taking your $2.50 and buying myself a Benz! lol

Let's please not turn this into a debate on the value of a competing web site. I would hate to have to shut down this thread if it started to look too much like advertising. Let's just keep focused on the original topic and avoid the thin line of promoting/debating web site services.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

From the Denver board
"The artest deal is very likely right now..some western conference sources are even calling the deal imminent. it seems like since the spurs joined the bitting, the nuggets are strongly pushing to land artest instead of the spurs. From what i understand a deal for artest will get done by the deadline. right now its 70% nuggets, 25% spurs and 5% the rockets.
