If I'm Orlando I'm calling the Nets right now to acquire him for their expirings in addition to possibly Diop or Boone, more likely the former.

If it didn't put me into the luxury tax I'd consider it and I don't believe it will put the Magic there either. Carter by himself I think can propel Orlando forward another round from the semi-finals to the conference finals.
There's a huge difference in money between the 2nd and 3rd round...
