Well we could give Dorell or Cook (20th and 21st picks in their drafts) instead of the Spurs 25th pick. They've both turned out decent in respect to draft position. Although I realise that the Kings have decent amounts of young swingmen, so maybe not. I'm sure we could get a pick better than the 25th pick though for one of them and forward it on to the Kings.

Chad ford today says heat are working on all fronts...

John: Chad: Please tell me the Heat will make a move to improve for next year.

"Chad Ford: I'm told they are working it on multiple fronts. They have Jason Williams expiring contract (worth nearly $9 million) and Ricky Davis's expiring contract (worth nearly $7 million) ... so they do have a lot of assets should they choose to make a deal or two. Or ... they can wait until the summer, hope Shawn Marion opts out and then have tons of cap space. Personally, I think they should use the room, bring in a guy like Mike Miller and maybe Eddy Curry, use their lottery pick and be back in business ...."

Buddy of mine says the Heat is pushing hard for a JO deal or that Miami could jump into Artest talk at the last second and snag him

that's pretty sick d, but I think you'd have to trade Haslem for a PG, or in the trade for Artest Sac would insist on him

What about this Deal? Brad miller-Artest for Blount-Haslem-Davis
They get the expiring contract of davis, haslem is a nice piece to build around and Blount is a Fill in for Brad for acouple of years or untill hawes comes around?

Miller is unselfesh, can shoot, good rebounder

Artest & Miller for J-Will, Ricky & Smush works, and that gets Sacramento out of a lot of salary obligation

I would say yes but do you really think miami would want to pay blount 7 million to be a backup?

Artest-Miller for Haslem-Blount-Davis-Dorrel-2 rounder

The Kings were close to sending Miller to Orlando yesterday for expirings and were even throwing in Garcia to sweeten the pot.. If we sweeten the pot wouldn't they throw in Artest-- after all they are supposedly trying to move him to Denver for Klezia (D. Wright) and a 20+ Draft pick..
