I stated in my earlier post trades can be POSTED at 12PM Midnight Eastern (maybe I should be more specific with the time zone next time :nonono:). The first thing I get is two trades posted before this time, guys this is exactly what I didn't want to happen. Follow instructions plz.

I have also been informed from "league sources" that the Blazers will be cutting Alexander Johnson and Earl Barron. The Heat would like to sign these 2 players.

What kind of trash is that? They haven't been cut yet, and you want first priority so you put some sort of claim on them before they've been cut?!? I understand, you're trading with him. If you want those two players so badly, why not just post the trade when he's ready to accept so that you can pick them up immediately after?

Was Keith Van Horn part of a roster in the game and then waived? I don't believe so, but if you can find me the link, then I can approve this.

Guys, I will be coming down much harder on you if you don't follow instructions or the rules this time around. If I don't, we'll keep seeing the same thing over and over again done wrong.

My bad Comish, did not see that time posted. Just took me 15 minutes to find it when I was looking for it.

Blazers accept.

About the cutting of the players, its because I'm over the maximum amount of players so I'm needed to cut two players, this was agreed upon from the beginning.

Sorry about the time issue, the Heat GM jumped the gun hhaha

well if we're following nba rules then that is not allowed since you have to meet the requirements right after the trade... so portland would have to cut 2 people before the trade even occurs to meet the roster requirement.

-Portland would be over the 15 man limit after the trade, even if they waive the players right away they were still over thus the trade cannot go through

i think it was mentioned earlier and the trade was rejected... and it might have happened and no one said anything...

so can we get clarification if your allowed to go over the roster limit or under to complete a trade.

It wasn't allowed. It has been made very clear from the beginning by Bryant and Clyde that you must drop players before making the trade if your roster size is going to exceed 15 players after the trade.

Yeah it wasn't allowed for the DAL/HOU/PHX trade, had to alter quite a lot to get past that

The Portland Trail Blazers and the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed on a blockbuster deal.

To Portland:

Andre Iguodala

To Philadelphia:

LaMarcus Aldridge

Portland's 2009 Second Round Pick

Trade ID #4533028

The Portland Trail Blazers have finally come to an agreement on the principles of a trade that brings Andre Iguodala to Portland. Said to be in the target of GM zong's since the beginning, the Portland Trail Blazers decided to move in a different direction, giving Brandon Roy a wingman in the upper echleon of athletic forwards.

"This trade may seem like a lateral move, but in order to move in a direction where we're comfortable, Iggy fits that bill" said the Portland GM in a phone interview.

"The contract status of Iggy is not blurry at all, Mr. Paul Allen has already stated he will match offers of all his players if he feels it is the right move for the team"

Phone calls were not immediately returned from the Philadelphia GM.

The sixers accept.

We have been looking for a true low post threat for a long time. We believe Aldrige can do this and be a franchise player. We are greatful for what andre and willie have done, but this is a forward move. We will build around Thad, Lamarcus sammy and lou will and our two picks.

No sir, you can only pick up players if:

1. They are from the D-League
2. They have been waived by another team in the game

Sorry

To fix the problem with the Blazers/Heat deal, a new deal has been reached:

Heat trade/Blazers receive:

Udonis Haslem $6,050,000
Smush Parker $2,250,000
Alexander Johnson $687,456
Marcus Vinicius $687,456
2008 DAL 2nd round pick
2011 MIA 1st round pick

Total: $9,674,912

Blazers trade/Heat receive:

Darius Miles $8,250,000
Channing Frye $2,487,240
Jarrett Jack $1,217,400
Josh McRoberts $427,163 (Is not calculated in sum due to minimum salary exception)
PDX 2009 1st
PDX 2011 1st

Total: $11,954,640

9,674,912 X 1.25 + 100,000 = 12,193,640

Blazers accept, we felt a need for a sturdy PF since Aldridge has been traded, Haslem's will bring the toughness a young team craves.
