you're working hard to justify it and i still don't see it

the heat were playing hard, except for shaq

if he's at the point where he's not willing to do that maybe he shouldn't be collecting his 20 million

You're probably right, they could cause a little fuss in the East. But ultimately I don't see them holding up.

I can't wait for the WC playoffs. Going to be **** amazing.

It's also funny the Lakers don't even have Bynum and Ariza, playing a back to back game, and oh yea it's a ROAD game.

Thats one of those things I dont think is right yet I can understand where a guy is comming from with that attitude.

Its hard to bust your ass and play hard when your playing with a bunch of guys that dont care.

I know its seems strange to some people but guys that are like that are guys that actually care a lot about winning, they just get frustrated with the losing and then when they look at their teammates they dont see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I've said it before but I think Bogut is kind of like that,I think if you put Bogut on a top team in the west you'd see a different (better) player in Andrew Bogut.

Bogut gets frustrated with losing then looks at guys like Redd & Mo and is probably like **** it why bother.

Come on

Miami wasn't losing because nobody on the team cared except for the out of shape Shaq. They were losing because the team wasn't talented enough to win games, especially early on with Shaq showing how much he cared by starting the season out of shape and not being able to stay on the court because of it.

I'm a big fan of Shaq, he's been fun to watch play and he has a great personality. It though would take a politician like spin artist to to imply that a player who shows up for the season way out of shape while getting paid 20 million and hurts his team because of this, is somehow the only guy on the team who cared about winning.

Do you work in politics rilaman?

It is crazy to think Shaq isn't even 100%, he still doesn't even have his legs under him, he still hasn't even been put in the system fully and he barely played half the game. He was forcing it early on, but let the game come to him in the 2nd half.

The main thing is how much Shaq being there benefits Stoudamire.

It was also amazing for Kobe to play the game he played with ligament damage in his pinky finger. He was shooting lights out.

Next time they meet in the postseason (if they meet) with Bynum back, Kobe feeling better and Gasol being used to the Lakers system..........then Shaq being 100%, in better shape and expect him to have get more baskets from Nash..........it will be a great match up.

However, I still say with all of these trades the Mavs, Lakers, Suns and Celtics did.........I expect Pistons vs Spurs finals. And as boring as it will be, I will have to laugh at all the teams who made all these insane trades for 20 mil a year players to go no where.

Didnt you read the Hornets Mavs game thread im a Suns fan now.

In all seriousness it boils down to an issue of motivation due to frustration,im not saying I agree with it ecspecially when a guy is making that kind of money but at the same time I can sort of understand where a guy is comming from that would feel that way.

BTW Baron Davis at the buzzer to beat the Celtics 119-117.

I've always been a big fan of Shaq rilaman, sports leagues need more guys with a personality like he has. With that said, he did kinda whip the bird to Miami fans and their organization by not staying in shape the last few offseasons after they handed him a 60 million dollar extension.

He models himself as a leader, but it doesn't set a very good example when he's so out of shape early in the season he can't stay in games because he's either gassed quickly or racking up fouls because he's so tired and not able to move his feet.

If i was Wade with the way he played so hard even though he's nursing injuries, i'd have been pretty annoyed to see Shaq huffing and puffing his way up the court and then shutting it down because the team wasn't winning.

I do wish the Suns well though in the playoffs, i still do like Shaq even after what he pulled on the Heat and i'd love to see Nash get a ring.
