This is just total speculation but I have a wierd feeling the Suns will get Artest for either Diaw or Barbosa.

Nash
Bell
Artest
Amare
Shaq

Don't be sure about that.

It's a high possibility that Seattle is going to buy him out and Barry can join us 30 days later.

Nope, getting Barry won't put us above the luxury tax threshold. He's going to cost us less than 300K thorugh the end of season.(3 months veteran contract) We already gain that money in recent trade:

Barry + Elson = 8.554K
Kurt: 8.091K

Which legit contender, besides NO, isn't going to pay the Lux tax? It is a must if you want a legit shot at getting out of the west.

If the league approves it, great. Smells like a pre-arranged deal to me. But the league approved Van Horn so anything is possible.

After buy out, Barry will be free to decide his new team. It can't be a pre-arrenged deal, because Barry can choose his way. But I hope he would re-join us.

The Sonics are laughing all the way on this one. They got 3 1st round picks just for being willing to take on KT's contract for HALF a season...and the Spurs won too, not only they get KT - a much needed defender in the post against Shaq/Amare and Gasol/Bynum, they're under the LT and still have Obverto as a 3rd string guy off the bench. They managed to get better and saved money in the process. Something our FO couldn't do over the past years.

WORD

Shows the diff between our FO and SanAN's. I don't mind that we got rid of KT that much since Skinner fills his role pretty well, but throwin in all those picks made us look like total dumba
