Celtics finally lose games 1 and 2 to the West...Noice

This is going to be a toughy...Shaq should manhandle Perkins/Big Baby

Hopefully Bell's ok, or give DJ some minutes, I think he could give Ray Ray a decent crack

0-1 in the Shaq era. Damn that sky.

Yet another game on Aussie t.v..................this could only spell bad news.

Nuke Australia!!!

GET SOME NUTS!!!

P.s. if we continue to play like that in the Shaq era then you will be preaching to the converted, of course it would be good if we won too.

P.s.s. Note to Amare: You now have that big to play with alongside you, how about you play a little bit of D other than being a matador when the big fella is off.

P.s.s.s. Personally I think we will match up better when Bynum is back as then Amare wont have to defend Lamar the majority of the time.

LATER MUCH!!!

^Which begs the question who the hell guards Odom?

Diaw ain't quick enough, Hill ain't big enough, Ross - if he comes, is too small...now Artest...he would have been sweeeeet

The trick is to contain Pierce, do that and the C's are toast.

If Hill can slow Dirk to 12 of 31 (or something to that effect - whatever it was) then I am quite comfortable in letting him D up Lamar. Most of Odoms' points tonight came from at first burning Amare with him dribble and then Amare had to step back so he hit a few long J's.

Lamar isn't that quick, compared to Hill anyways so he isn't going to get by him easily and his shot is too mechanical to quick shoot Hill when Hill can play tighter than Amare.

He can try and post Hill up, but as we saw against Dirk that is no easy feat either. Especially with both Amare and now Shaq waiting to erase shots.

Thank god there is no Basketball on pay t.v. in Australia on a Monday.

What do you think this is the Celtic thread or something?

 I agree to an extent. Hopefully their bigs no longer go off against us. Like other teams bigs have.

KG and Amare will both pwn each-other, like they usually do.
Garnett is still fresh off an injury and STAT has been in red hot form lately so Amare shud be able 2 pwn KG harder then KG will pwn him tho.
We don't have Marion anymore, so don't count on us slowin down Pierce either.

Bell shud recover from his nightmare showing against Kobe and bring back his game against Ray Ray, we'll be needin that.

Celt's bench is their main weakness, so Barbs/Diaw gotta bring their A game this time as well if we wanna win.

Will be interesting 2 see how we matchup with the eastern conf favorites

GO SUNS!

lol it's not even funny anymore? Excuse me for having my doubts. I've already recognized that I panic way too much, but the fact is that Amare is not a great defender, and KG is a fantastic offensive player, and that's obviously going to be a tough, tough matchup that I see Garnett winning. I never said that KG would be able to contain Amare on the other end, which is what you implied I said.

Guess we're both on the "Frank Lee was right about our damn management" bandwagon now, huh?

Anyway, Celtics didn't look too well as of lately, hopefully we can take advantage of that - a win against a top team should really help Shaq feel comfortable as fast as possible.
