What team will make the cut?

Post#1 » by UThinkUrSoGood » Thu Feb 21, 2008 6:39 am

Looking at the West, wow... We could possibly make the #1 seed by the end up the season, so the question is, who do you think will end up taking the 8 spot, Lakers might possibly be playing them ;)
Right now the top 3 contenders would be Rockets, Warriors, Blazers. I highly doubt any of the current top 7 get knocked out but you'll never know.

Kings and Blazers have no chance. They're too far now.

Rockets without a doubt. The Warrior's offense will always give them that chance to get a spot, and in recent past seasons I'd say it would be a lock for them, but not this season.

Houston will get it if they can stay healthy. If not, it's the Warriors again in the 8 spot.

I think the Rockets will actually pull out a 6 or 7 seed.

They're 18-3 in their last 21 games and are currently on a 9 game winning streak. If T-Mac can stay healthy, this team could be pretty good. I think the Warriors and Blazers will miss out and the Nuggets will stay at #8.

Tough call. The Rockets, Nugs, and Warriors are all looking good. All three have injury-prone players, however (T-Mac, Camby, Baron Davis). The two teams that stay healthier than the third will make it.

Warriors lost their only big, Queens suck, Blazers are cooling off, H-Town just got cap relief and Gerald Green (he sucks btw.)

Tough call. But I have to go with the Rockets.
