Seattle doesn't want Gelabale, West wants out, and Brent Barry could be moved or bought out. That in mind, here's 2 trades with Seattle I'd love to see.
Diaw/Tucker/Marks/Pike/Atl Pick for West/Wilcox/Gelabale
This deal gets Seattle 2 expirings, a guy that would be great with Durrant and Green in Diaw, a young guy in Tucker who could help in their rebuild, and they get yet another 1st rd pick to go with their other 4 this summer.
Gives the Suns a better back-up at the point, another big that would pound the ball and be our Amare-light, and a defensive minded 3 to back-up Grant.
2nd deal: TPE and 2nd rd pick for Brent Barry
This deal would give us a proven playoff veteran who can help bring the ball up and spread the floor with his 3pt shooting.
Then sign Linton Johnson or whoever they want to fill the 13th roster spot.
All in all, it saves the Sonics big money along with young talent and picks to continue building a ability to package picks to move up and grab better players to build with.
For the Suns it gives us more depth, defense, rebounding AND scoring all in these 2 deals.
A deal w/Seattle I'd love to see

Sonics fan here. First off I have to comment on Shaq. I watched the game last night and Shaq looked as motivated as ever. Just by seeing how he hit the floor diving for loose balls and the one where he saved it from going out of bounds and throwing it off the Laker proved he wants to give it 100%.
For sure he wasn't in sync, but 15 points, and 9 rebounds in 24 minutes isn't a bad stat for his first game in a while. I think by the time playoffs roll around he is going to be a tremendous help inside and will allow Stoudemire to concentrate on what he does best. But I have to say that Gasol is an absolutely perfect fit for the Lakers style of ball.
Back to the trade proposal. I don't see this package getting you guys Chris Wilcox, nor do I see you guys needing Wilcox. While he is a special talent, he does one thing and one thing only extremely well, which is playing the offensive post position. From all the games I've watched( living in Vancouver we get alot of Suns games obviously because of Nash) it's your perimiter defense that needs the upgrade.
Brent Barry is a good role player but he isn't going to provide you with anything that Barbosa or Bell can't do. I really think you need a stopper on the outside. I'm afraid Raja Bell hasn't stepped it up this season. Someone like Fransisco Garcia or even a Renaldo Balkman would be a better fit in my opinion. So Quinton Ross is more favorable than Barry in my opinion.
By the way, I hope Shaq doesn't knock anymore of his teamates out. That was one nasty hit he put on Bell.

I don't like that deal for the Sonics at all. They're trying to save money, and having to take on Diaw's contract does the complete opposite since he's under contract until 2012 and earns a lot more money than Wilcox.
Furthermore Wilcox and, even if Seattle isn't too crazy about them, West and Gelabele actually have some positive value, especially Chris, while this can't be said about Boris, Pike or Marks. Tucker wasn't able to prove anything in this league so far, so it's basically two mid-to late 1st round picks and garbage for some useful parts that don't earn much money and aren't signed long-term. Receiving a 2nd round pick and a trade exception for an expiring contract in the second deal doesn't change anything about that.

Yeah, u pretty much nailed it on the Wilcox and Barry parts.
Right now our 2 biggest weaknesses BY FAR are perimeter defense (since we lost Marion), and playmaking from the backup PG spot.
We don't need another post scorer like Wilcox at all.
West and Gelabale wud be interesting fits tho.
