You're right. I never dreamed they'd get a 1st rounder for Thomas.
That was just pure negotiating right there........tin rimmed Presti is working some magic.....now he needs to show he can do a little more with those picks after he gets them.

It will be time for him to show off a little more wheeling and dealing prowess come draft day and then he's gotta show us some talent eval skills to impress. Anyways, nice little something to take all of our minds off the Franchise Rustlers for a day.

Thats a big contract to find matching for
What would the deal be?
Most likely the players(Newble, Snow or Marshall) nwsports and myself already talked about in this thread.
The Cavs don't really have all that much, that would interest teams.

Chad Ford is reporting that the Cavs are pushing hard for Ben Wallace and Wally Szczerbiak.
Wow ... too close to call right now. Apparently, one of the reasons the Cavs are pushing that Hughes be in the Bulls deal is that they want their expiring contracts and Donyell Marshall to get ahold of Wally Szczerbiak. So the Cavs would add Wally, Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Duhon. Could it be three new starters around LeBron?

I don't really know what their GM thinks as well, but i've read that Wally will go there.
This isn't all going down like I thought it would last night ...but, it does look like we're going to be bringing Wally in for sure. and that WAS the local kid I was talking about that I thought we'd be bringing back home ...he had expressed an interest in coming hoime to finish out his career, and don't be surprised if he ends up staying on with the Cavs after his contract expires, at a far lower slary scale of course.
