Wow. That's a shock if true.

And I'd make that offer in a heartbeat for Marion.

Which offer would you make?

I think Riles wants expirings so he can go sign a FA in the summer like Brand.....

What does this say about Marion?

That matches up with comments he made not long ago about his plan for next summer.

It doesn't say anything positive, that's for sure. But the guy is a big-time player. He's a legit impact player on both ends of the court. His deal seems to be he wants to be the main guy wherever he is. Well that wouldn't be a problem in Milwaukee. He'd easily be the best player on this team.

Go get him... I'd take the risk of having to resign him.

That Elton Brand is better than him I suppose. Marion would be a great fit, I can't see any trade going down for him but still, we can dream.

I don't think it has to do with Marion as much as it does with not being able to resign him.

We might have an edge at resigning him because Fegan has YI as well. Maybe.

The one thing that never made much sense about the Marion deal was that the entire reason he wanted out of Phoenix was because he wasn't 'the man'. So he goes to Miami and all of the sudden he's going to be happy playing second fiddle to one of the biggest stars in the world in Wade?

I wonder if he told them he wouldn't re-sign? I wouldn't give up much for Marion. If he's not happy in Miami he wouldn't be happy in Milwaukee.

Or...maybe Miami never wanted him long-term and they just felt they could get more for him than they could for Shaq? If that's the case you can give Riley GM of the year right now.

Mo/CV/Simmons is a fair deal isn't it?

They get their PG and a young talent at the PF position. Sure they take on Simmons but they need a SF worse than we do, if they trade Marion of course.

SO they get two young players in return for Marion who they could lose for nothing.

And Marion would instantly be the best player here. If he wants to be the top dog, we got a spot for him.

I don't think it would ever happen, but if It could, I'd trade for him, and give him the max

If redd's getting the max, marion surely deserves it.

Have you looked into this at all? Marion makes more than Redd.

In fact, he makes the 12th most money this year in the NBA.
