The Sonics got a 1st round selection for Kurt Thomas, who everybody knew about, that he was gone this summer, when he hits free agency.

So what exactly do you think the Sonics(who're not dying to get rid of those 6.75 mil Wilcox is owed next year) are going to ask for Wilcox?
The only way, i could see him ending up in Orlando is, if Redick and at least a 1st round pick go to Seattle, with either Ridnour or Watson going to Orlando as well. Though, even that would still be a really hard sell to the fans for Presti.

I'd gladly give Redick, a 1st and an expiring for Chris Wilcox and Ridnour/Watson.

Our first this year will be low and not worth a whole lot anyways.

I don't think we can trade this years 1st, it would have to be a future 1st - our next year's should be about the same as this year's.

Either way, I'd give it up. Chris Wilcox is a good young big. Definitely worth an outside of the lottery pick.

Yesterday I felt like there was a good chance we made a move. But today I just think Otis isnt going to do anything. Which Im ok with to a certain extent. We are winning alot of games and playing well. But at the same time with so many teams looking for a lil extra cap room or picks I dont see any reason why we couldnt pull off a deal to better this team. To me its obvious were still 1-2 players short. So while Im still hoping for a deal, I dont expect one.
