Scott (Orlando, FL): Are the Magic afraid to pull the trigger? They should have gotten Kurt Thomas (as they had expiring contracts and a better 1st rounder than SA). It wouldn't have cost them anything long term as Thomas is in the final year as well.
SportsNation Chad Ford: (1:52 PM ET ) They were in the hunt for Thomas. I think they had a better first rounder to give the Sonics. The cynical view is that Sam Presti helped out the Spurs out of loyalty. I don't think the Magic can make a big deal because they seem very reluctant to part with either Turkoglu or Redick

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Wallace may be declining, but its not like the Cavs are giving anything of value away. And as already said, its probably contingent on another deal going down. Watch them end up with Big Ben at center and Marion as their pf. Really, they have no where to go but up. Besides Lebron that team is absolutely horrible.

Less than an Hour left....
The Chad:
I'm getting lots of phone calls now ... sorry for delays. One source says the hold up in a Chicago-Cavs deal is that Cleveland wants Chicago to take back Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden for Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Duhon. I can't really see the Bulls doing that. Hughes has two years, $26 million left on his contract and where do the Bulls play him?

A joke?
Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
