Hey fellas, with my last post i wanted to start some irony ;-)
i appreciate ur honest opions on the league's best "big" man, u are completly right! Amare isn't the typical big man. But i think he definitely is one of the 5 best big men no order: Duncan,KG,Dwight,Amare,Yao.

But honestly ur frontline is intimidating as hell..with Bynum,Gasol and Odom..oh my god! Shaq (at full health and strength) and Amare are great, too. I think Suns-Lakers would be the best series the NBA could see maybe one of the best all time.
U don't have anyone who can stop Nash and we don't have anyone who can stop Kobe.But Kobe > Nash.

Nash >>>>>> Fisher
Bryant >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bell and Barbosa (Barbosa played great against u in the PO)
Hill < Odom (slightly)
Amare > Gasol (honestly who is better? u have to take Amare)
Shaq >= Bynum (healthy)

LAL bench >> SUNS bench (we only have Diaw and Barbosa)
LAL coach >>>> SUNS coach

But i don't think u have a clear favorite..cmon the Suns are now a very experencied PO team but older and slower than the years ago.
I think this series would be close.

And really i like ur pieces! Good luck

I'm not saying Amare is a bad player. He's great. But for defensive purposes I would take a group of big guys before him. Amare would get owned if he was guarding Duncan, Yao, Dwight, Bosh, Bynum, Pau. They are too big and tall for him. His offensive aggression is superb. But he's not someone that can seal his man, receive the pass in the block, everyone clears out and he'll back his man in and take a high percentage jump hook close to the rim. He's not that kind of big. He scores mostly on broken plays, or driving PG's that set him up. Or on Pick and rolls. If you need to slow the game down, and throw it into your big man for a high percentage shot close to the basket, there's alot of other bigs that could do a better job than him.
