Great trade. Green wasn't going ot stick in Portland and Wafer can spell Roy for minutes at the 2. Can't see Jack being dealt now. Rodriguez wil still get his small dose of minutes.

It actually makes sense as far as I can tell.

Von Wafer is in the last year of his contract, Green has one more year. We want to open up some roster spots next year.

KP made a deal! haha.

my first thought is that it won't work salary-wise...too big a gap between salaries.

Then I remember...or seem to...that Portland had a bit of trade exception left from the Zach>NY trade so maybe it does work salary-wise.

but...von wafer?

Yeah, and Rockets didn't give up anything of value. This trade isn't going to solve Green's demand for more PT.
