"Official" I hate Otis thread
With the deadline about to come and go it looks like we're standing still.
I understand the desire that many have to disgorge a river of venous tirades toward GM Smith. Rather than it happening in virtually every thread, perhaps it can centralized in this thread.
Remember, misery loves company.

For the record I'll be disappointed if we don't make any moves. I certainly had hoped that we'd use our expirings to improve the team.
One of the reasons why I wasn't as opposed to the Shard signing was because we still had assets to improve the team.
From reports it seemed it wasn't money issues, but that Smith didn't want to give up our 1st pick or JJ. To me that's absurd.
Oti$ is overpaid!!!!

lol, good thread.
I don't hate him. I just happen to start thinking that I might have been too optimistic about him.
That's a nice way to put it, right? 13 millions (+/-) on expirings out of the window and a stubborn reluctance in letting some pieces that are not important on the roster go... nice, really nice!

if no trade goes down with all these expirings sign me up for the Fire Otis thread - getting SVG bought him some grace time, but he kind of fell into that
now there is no excuse to leave all those expiring contracts on the table and if he is playing cards with other teams - he'll be the loser - he is not a good card player and we have a lot to lose by not doing a deal not Seattle - they lose nothing keeping Wilcox - we lose a chance to really contend and we again waste assets - give them JJ - idiot

I don't hate Otis.
Because the Magic are winning, he'll not go anywhere.
I am not unhappy that nothing was done by today.
I was more fearful of what "might" have been done, given Smith's and the Magic track record.
I have very little faith in Otis however.
