I hope he didn't hear Donnie Nelson on the Ticket yesterday talking about how much vastly better Kidd is versus Devin. That may have been hard for him to reconcile.

If you go by last night's game, it is the exact opposite of what you said. Damp looked better, Bass, Howard looked worse and Terry looked better when running the point, but just as bad beside Kidd.JapanAir21 wrote:Brandon Bass anyone?
Also, Jason Terry should be a little better, and Josh Howard looks promising as well. I don't see who he DOESN'T make better other than Dampier unless he has hand replacements.

I like how you have 3.5 years of patience with Harris, and you give Kidd one game after one practice.
Are you related to Harris?

I was just noting the players he made better yesterday. I wasn't evaluating him after one game. I wasn't going to have a firm opinion on this new team till we play at least 3 playoff caliber teams. This is just the 1st.mrmreg wrote:I like how you have 3.5 years of patience with Harris, and you give Kidd one game after one practice.

They seemed to be pushing the ball more against the Hornets to start out the game, but all the turnovers made them take a step back and realize they weren't that ready to play with each other.
Personally I think Josh Howard, Dampier, Bass, Dirk, and Terry have the most to gain from Kidd. Terry will see more floor time with the starters, and personally I think he should be starting now. This Kidd/George crap is not gonna work, and it's pointless. You got Kidd to get your shooters the ball, George is not a shooter, and Kidd should be playing defense against the players George would be up against. Kidd should be going up against 2 guards, not Chris Paul/Parker/etc. Sadly that's Terry's job now.
Dirk really looked re-energized against New Orleans though. I don't think I've ever see him throw it down like he did twice in that game. So the #1 of it all will be Dirk, I think he was tired of the team and ready for a change. He seemed the least friendly with Harris (not that he wasn't, but Howard and Terry seem to be his buds, Harris seemed to be his teammate)
