Why I feel good right now

Top 8 teams in the west;
Suns
Hornets
Lakers
Mavs
Spurs
Jazz
Rockets
Warriors
Nuggets
^Last 3 are tied. .

Those are all pretty damn good teams.

Players between them all; Kobe, Shaq, Paul, Melo, Iverson, McGrady, Yao, Davis, Jackson, Odom, Dirk, Kidd, Howard, Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, Boozer, Williams, West, and probably others I should mention

Look at the amount of talent and quality there is in the west right now. . These are the teams, in theory, that would be in the playoffs this year. . . . By the time any of these teams reach the NBA Finals they will be battered. If the WC champions play all 7 game series that's 21 (tough)games until they face us.

Celtics
Pistons
Magic
Cavs
Raptors
Wizards
76ers

Seriously. . .. The 76ers. . .The mess that the cavs are now. . .Magic who in my opinon are even understaffed than us(roster wise). Wizards with Butler and Arenas having injuries. . . I'm not saying our road to the finals will be a total cake walk but it will be a hell of a lot easier than any team in the east's quest. We have the big 3. Rondo. Big Baby. Powe. House. posey. Pride. A great fan base. and an easier route than anyone we could end up against in the west. I really feel this is our season now.

one thing is for sure. the west playoff series will make for very entertaining basketball.

It's so much easier in the East, that out of the top 8 teams, there's only 7 teams. :wink:

Does this mean the Celtics get a bye?

I for one am giddy about this years playoffs. Not only the fact that the C's will be tearing it up but I'm excited to see all the other teams play. The West is going to be crazy come playoff time. You could realistically see a #8 upset a #1 AND a #7 upset a #2. Sheer madness

I will try and watch every playoff game this year (don't tell my wife about the plan).
The west will be a lot of fun and the east, so I would do my own scouting reports
