Good for Gerald, maybe he can get some PT. McGrady playing with the next McGrady.

I wonder if he'll get the starting spot? I don't see anybody who would get the spot ahead of him.

Plus he's from that area so he'll be playing in front of a home crowd.

What? Of course not. He can't start on the T-Wolves, how is he going to start on the Rockets? They'll probably start Battier in place of Wells.

Wells was going off the bench anyways and wasn't see an awful lot of time until recently. Gerald will definitely get some minutes, but he's not going to be getting as much playing time as he saw in boston.

I guess the question that no one asked but everyone is wondering is...

"If all it cost was an expiring contract and a 2nd round pick to get Gerald then why did we not just bring him back?"

I mean maybe some of our winning ways would rub off on him.

Oh wait...we don't have an expiring that would work and I guess we need our guys. Where is a bad 1 year expiring contract when you need one?? ?
