shortly after Korver arrived in Utah, they played what? 9 home games in Janurary? Maybe 4 road games (two of which were L's).
Jazz are good, but don't overstate Korver's importance.
And we are now 6-3 on the road with Korver, after starting off 6-15 on the road. I agree, it's the fact that Korver isn't a big name, but ESPN seems to recognize that this trade was very good for us, but not as good as Gasol was for LA. Which brings up another point..
WHO CAN STOP THE UTAH JAZZ?
Seriously? Kings can, but we don't play them anymore, and nobody else has beaten us in our last 14 games. It's very possible that no one stops us for a while.

What a thought provoking statement that really backed up your title name.Jordan45822 wrote:because when they got him the Jazz became really good.

Who cares? It's Kyle Korver, Great 3pt shooter but WHO CARES? It's the Utah Jazz! Not many are talking about Kurt Thomas either! The Jazz & Spurs (to some extent) are a bit boring to watch.
And of-course ESPN doesn't talk about these type of players much! It's always what product is selling hot for them, remember ESPN kissing D-Whistles behind? And now Lebron!
What we should be really complaining about is, why the heck does ESPN 1ST & 10 have Lebron James as part of their topic EVERY damn day?

I think the Korver trade made the Jazz a lot better, but a lot of this has to do with the Jazz being healthy. they were no healthy in December and that caused them to lose a lot of games. they played 3-4 games without Okur, Harpring and or Kirilenko and while CJ Miles is an OK player he couldn't fill in for Kirilenko and Harpring. before the month of december the Jazz were 13-5 I think and were second best in the west behind San Antonio.

^^^ Not only is Utah underrated but it's not talked about much because he's Kyle Korver. When you have Kidd, Gasol, and Shaq involved in trades you're not going to hear about Kyle Korver. Plus, I seriously doubt he's the reason the Jazz are playing so well lately. Yes he's a good fit for them and he makes their bench better, but I think it has more to do with the Jazz players finally getting completely healthy and just playing good basketball then it does Korver.
