depth needed raid the idaho stampede
I thought ainge might make a small trade fora backup point guard didn't happen but there is a possibility of cassell orbarry being bought out. But if it doesn't happen we shouldsign randylivingston from the nbdl. Now Randy isn't as good as CassellorBarrybut he could provide 8 to 12 minutes a gamewhen we need a point guard who can dribble especially when a team is cranking up the pressure. He also has nba and overseas experience. As for a big I think Lance Allred is a good choice he has an idea of the offense having played for the Celts summer league team. He could also provide the 8 to 12 minutes a game that it seemspollard can't provide but he would be a good insurance policy. Allred brings some size he is 6'10" and probably250lbs. I feel that he these are twoo f the best D leaguers and that a D leagur all star can e a rotation and spot player in the nba. Lets face it there are worse players playing in the nba than Livingston and Allred.

First off, I think Powe and Baby have proved themselves enough. We really do not need another big.
Also, is Livingston really gonna do anything? Bringing him in this late, I don't think he can do anything but hurt us. No thanks.

Certainly dont need another big....not one that is going to actually get minutes at least.
Backup PG has been talked about for months now, if we are going to dig in to the D League for someone to get a few minutes I think it has to be Andre Barrett. He has NBA experience, big game experience from college and is a passer before a shooter. We need a passer out there, he'd be perfect.

I despise fans that cheer on a team from up north or one that resembles a dinosaur. oh wait...

Livingston has much more NBA experience than Barrett, is older, and is also a very good passer. I don't see why you'd want Barrett, Livingston is the reigning MVP of the d-league and averages double digit assists. Allred is the d-league HORSE champion, and seems like he's okay for a few minutes in a Pollard like role, but I don't think he'll add any real value to the team.
