Right now the Celtics play Rondo about 30 mpg + House 15 mpg at the PG position w/Ray Allen or TA filling in any gaps.
But Ray and Paul are both up at over 38 mpg at the 2 and 3 positions. Posey is also playing more minutes than he did when the Celtics came roaring out of the gates (although many of those are at PF).
The key here is that Cassell is big enough to pair with House or Rondo in the backcourt for 10 minutes a game. Cassell makes the Celtics deeper, but one of the big benefits is that I think he'd allow Doc to back off on Ray Allen's minutes. Tony Allen still has his role and the team is in better shape for a playoff run...
