Kyle Singler

Post#1 » by GLtrojans » Sun Feb 17, 2008 10:12 pm

I think he ranks up there with the top freshmen in the country, he just doesnt get as much credit because Duke is all about being a team and his stats aren't as good as they could be because of that.

Where does everybody else think he ranks among the best freshmen?

I think Singler is definitely one of the top freshmen in the country.

I'm not buying that he doesn't get much credit. I think plenty of people credit his high talent level as one of the main reasons duke started so well this season.

And if he doesn't get enough credit, it is not necessarily due to duke's team system. It is more likely b/c he does not have the flashy highlights that look great on Sports Center's top 10. He is highly skilled but wouldn't rank among the top echelon of athleticism in the NCAA.

i really dont think he'll be a star in the nba. might be a step below adam morrisson and im a duke fan. he isnt quick and his handle isnt the greatest. nothing really stands out at the moment his skill level is average meaning shoooting handling passing etc are all the same. not bad but not good/great either
