Don't be so quick to label the Rockets as losers.
Jackson could become their 3rd best offensive threat. Plus, Green still has potential.

I am a fan, but the winner for me is the wolves. We actually got something for Green. Whom I would have bought out. I have never seen a player with so much potential do so little with it and literally hurt a team.
also there were a lot of rumors of the wolves trading some of our young guys to contending teams for cap or picks. Such as Ryan Gomes to the suns. I think the wolves are winners for holding onto their young core.

Winners
Spurs- i'm suprised more teams didn't go after a polished veteran like Thomas
Lakers- Stole Gasol from the Grizzlies
Cavs- Joe Smith is a great pickup .. That should seal a win for them..
Bulls- They shed Ben Wallace and make sure Gordon stays locked to the bench where he's most effective..
Nets- Actually got value for a disgruntled star causing locker room problems, not to mention they improve leaps and bounds defensively..
Suns- HUGE gambel that could pay dividends.. Shaq's effectiveness is no longer measured in stats but he could put them over the top..
Hornets- Got a good bench player in Wells..
Utah- Look at their record with Korver..
Heat- Really a win/win situation for the team, considering Marion still has A LOT of value
Losers
Mavs- They needed size to compete in the West, not a PG that doesn't fit their style, not to mention the price tag and luxury tax that follows..
Nuggets- Did nothing to improve the team.. I guess the only thing to look forward to is another first round bow out (if they even make the Post season)
Sacramento- Why go half way with rebuilding? Should've move Artest and Miller also..
Knicks- Couldn't find a way to move Randolph or Curry.. It's nice to see they didn't trade for VC also.. The knicks are where star players go to die..

Had the Nets managed to shaft Memphis for Mike Miller, we would have had an outright coup at the deadline.
But seeing we robbed Dallas like we tied them to a chair and stuck a sock in their mouths like Eddy Curry, i can't complain!

This was a decent move for the Spurs. The problem is getting rid of Elson, who has excellent skills for a big off the bench. Now they have to rely on Bonner and Oberto playing huge minutes, which is OK but not great. Wonder if they call Mahinmi up for the playoff run; if he pays dividends, look out.
Elson doesn't play..Bonner doesn't play neither..Oberto/Thomas/Horry split the minutes, which is good IMO for complimentary players like them..
Winners
Atlanta, LA Lakers, Miami, NJ, NO, Phoenix, SA, Seattle, Utah..
Neutral
Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas(TBD in the playoffs), Detroit, GSpot, Indiana, LAC, Memphis(TBD future), Minnesota, NY, Philly, Portland, Sacramento, Toronto, Washington..
Losers
Denver(no moves in a win now situation), Houston, Milwaukee(should have made a move IMO), Orlando(should have made a minor move at SG or PF..not a huge deal though)..

they got brezec, a servicable center, yes. but this opens the door to trading rasho's expiring contract which should be a hot commodity as early as this summer.
losers: suns
too many holes to fill that they didn't and i probably sound like a homer saying this but they dropped the ball by not acquiring quinton ross. it's going to be painful watching grant hill try to guard kobe in a 7 game series.
I'm sorry to tell you this, but If you didnt know Raja Bell actually guards Kobe Bryant, and then when Bell sits out then we put our defensive stopper Darell Strawberry on Kobe.
