He might be waived by the pistons since they traded for dixon.

would he be an option at the 2 spot?

Isnt he really a lesser version of Terry? He doesnt shoot very well, and he cannot handle the ball very well. I guess he could not be worse than Barea

i thouht he is a quite good ballhandler and has a good drive to the rim
i din't know that mouch about him, though but i wouldn't consinder him as a lower version of terry since he isnt a lights out shooter.
could play some point as well

I have read some about him, but could not tell you much. Saw his lousy shooting and the fact he is not playing and pistons made a trade for his exact position.

Yeah he's a very good ball handler, just hadn't had much success with the Pistons, he was much better when he played for the sonics.

I don't, the AJ trade exception expires around midnight, and using it saves the full MLE if the right big man becomes available...

IF not the Pistons might be inclined to do us a favor in the future...

I rather take the Barry/Magloire option

I think what we missed by not using the TE on Flip is that we probably have to use the bulk of the MLE on Magloire. That means our second signing is either for a lesser portion of the MLE OR for the vet minimum.

Brent Barry is going to go to San Antonio for 30 days rest and equal money thank you. So to get Barry you are probably taking yourself out of contention for Magloire (and vice versa).

If we could have swung a deal to sign a player using the TE from AJ2 then we would be ahead in the game... As it is the DMN is reporting that Dallas is looking to sign 2 bigs to fill out the roster rather than a Big and Guard combo.
