Just to clear something up--a witness who sees someone doing something and reports it is not hearsay Hearsay is when you report that someone said something and you attest that just because you heard it said that it means it was the truth. There really isn't anything in the Canzano article that is hearsay.
Doesn't mean he isn't a clown, but we should at least be accurate.

When I read the title of this thread I was thinking Miami Dolphins, like from the NFL and was confused. Never been to the Dolphin, nor do I think I ever want to, but in Miles defense why does it matter if hes going to a strip club or not? Have we or have we not all gone over all this before a million times? As for his slow recovery thats a silly statement, as others have posted its kind of ludicrous to blame Darius for his slow recovery of his injury when its a well known injury to have a long recovery time.

man, that's sad, i mean, poor miles, he has all the talent in the world and mainly because his focus is outside the court he can't get to his level and be better.
i'm sure he loves basketball and of course he wants to play, but i don't think he will get a good shot at trying to make it back.
the problem is that he's tough to trade and i don't think he will say he'll retire. or what happens if you say you retire, he signs that thing that will give the blazers their money back and then he "comes back" from retirement and plays for someone else?

He's never going to retire. Why would he? 1) you never know, he could come back and be a role player and sign like a $9 million deal for 3 years. 2) thanks to the new trend where Keith Van Horn and Aaron McKie (former Blazer!) get resigned and thrown into deals, essentially getting free money, why on earth would Darius give up the possibility of being thrown into a trade 4 years from now and making another $3 million while he's in a strip club making it rain?

The last question they asked Quick today was in regards to Miles retiring. He said that he gets the feeling that the Blazers do want him to retire (duh) and while he hasn't personally seen a lot of Miles in game style practices, people who have seen it tell him that it would likely be in Miles' best interest to retire.

*Miles practices once sometimes twice a week.
*Miles thinks hes ready to come back & play.
*Coaches/Blazers think hes no where close.
*Quick thinks Blazers dont think Miles can
come back and wants Miles to retire.. .
I was listening to that too. Sounded like Quick thinks management is trying to seriously push Miles towards retirement. We can only hope that happens sooner than later...

*Reading Jason Quick makes you dumber.
No worries, he was listening to Quick, not reading.
