Lets assume the following ends up true...
New Orleans continues to have the 2nd worst attendance in the league which also leads to the 2nd worst profit in the league. The owner decides he wants out or wants to move the team. The owner might not be willing to fork out another max offer or Chris Paul may chose not to want to be with an unstable franchise. A Blazer team with a core of Roy, Aldridge and Oden witht he richest owner in the NBA and an epic **** ton of cap space would look very attractive to him.
Yes its a long shot, but as long as he doesn't sign an extention its still a shot none-the-less

What do you think about Redd at SF? he has a player option at 2010, maybe if next season the Bucks continue to suck, a Raef + Webster + our 2009 1st rounder would be enough. This is assuming Webster's progress would stop.
Redd entered the league as a defensive specialist, but has become too much heavy set to guard SG's. But I think he would be fine against SF's.
Another possible trading prospect - John Salmons. This guy could be both the solution at PG and SF, so we could keep still keep Webster. The Kings are looking to shed salaries so I believe that Raef and our pick for Salmons and Thomas could work.
Salmons is a great, versatile defender who can shoot the 3 at high percentage and he's also a slasher.

Hey now, thanks to Nash's mastery of the over rated franchise player two franchise have been able to get theirs. NJ was able to get Kidd for Marbury, and Portland was able to Roy for Telfair.
Maybe Nash has skills like "Good Luck Chuck." All you have to do is let him draft or trade for a Franchise player and the next guy that comes along will be able to trade that guy for a real franchise player.
I should be Nash's agent. I could think of about 10 teams that could use a Nash-like boost in the arm. As long as you keep him from actually trying to build a team for more than a year I think you're fine.
