Let's make a new schedule for picks starting tomorrow.

Cant we just stick with the current schedule?

There are 3 teams that are late...The should show up soon and make these picks...meanwhile we are continuing with round 6...at least when these teams are on the clock (POR) the draft will stall for some hours giving them even more time!

O and what does everyone think of my team

Calderdon
Redd
Butler
Bosh
Haywood

All 5 are available, and its plain to see that my defense needs improvement.

redd def. was a steal

for your lineup:
the frontcourt is nice and should be able to hold at least its own against most teams...redd and butler are nice weapons which caldi can hin in addition to bosh

are you around for your next pick?

if not you can send a list!

Oh, I was definitely aware that Redd was still on the board when I made my Bell pick. Redd wasn't a good fit for what I needed at the 2. I needed a guy who can fit next to my stars, play great defense and not demand shots. No way I was going with Melo/Redd at the 2/3, there just isn't enough shots to go around and I'd get exposed defensively. I think with Billups/Bell I have a very solid 2 way backcourt.

And just for the record, I was thinking of selecting him and then pawning him off in a trade for more, but that's not a guaranteed thing, and I might not have gotten back a player that meshed as well as Bell does with my starting 5. So I avoided the risk altogether.

And if you look at the last guy who won this competition (Myth Breaker), his line-up hardly had sheer star power throughout, it was a nice balanced team at every position with a couple of all-stars.

Yeah, your pick got skipped, You're free to make your selection, make sure to check which players are still available beforehand. Also, before you leave make sure to send out a lengthy list of players you have interest in selecting next round to Mathias (e-mail).

BTW...what do you guys about the TJ Ford pick?

My lineup will now consist of:
Ford
Carter
Marion
Brand
Gasol

Bibby will be the 6th man and 4th quarter man, as he brings experience and terrific shooting.

The reason I'm starting Ford over Bibby is because Ford is a better defender, quicker, and play-maker.

Soo what do you guys think?

Skipping picks is a good strategy. We better not start over...That would be the most bull if we did start over after all this time. Skipping picks is the way to do it. It's a cut-throat world so skipping picks makes sense.

Very strong lineup IMO, has a mixture of both offense and defense.

Heh my night out cost me Hedo :banghead: but overall im pretty happy with

PG: AI
SG: Joe Johnson
SF: Prince/ Josh Smith
PF:Josh Smith/Amare
C: Amare/ Brad Miller

It gives me alot of flex to go either big or small and still be pretty effective.
