........... I had heard things before, but I never realized what a punk Kevin Garnett is. I'm finally seeing it tonight in this Celtics game.

From somebody who despises both teams. Garnett is a bitch, but Amare is an even bigger bitch

Garnett should have been fouled out already. But like the NBA, he gets the preferential treatment.

With all the slapping from the Green Jerseys, you think its a WNBA team out there.

And Amare doesn't?

He pulled a player into the stands. Two days ago he was slapping Gasol silly.

I have respect for some of your players, Big Daddy even, but Amare is just a prick. It's nice to see him go against Garnett, who is also a prick.

It's really quite funny when you're not involved in rooting for one team or the other. You get to call things objectively and not get so heated about it. I have to say though Pheonix's defense looks great. Big difference from the other night. Shaq has quite a bit to do with that, since he knows how to position himself for blocks.

Unlike other Laker fans even after Wednesday I'm still concerned about Pheonix, even with Bynum to some extent.

I thought you WNBA fans only come out in the summer.

Or are you those closet Clipper fans. Who knows.

I will attest that Amare is a prick in person, that is if you don't have a pink taco.

How's KG a punk? It was a physical game, and dude is a freaking warrior. I'd love to have KG on this team.

WNBA fan? Huh???

K.G. is a warrior no doubt, but whenever he's ahead I've noticed he'll pull something cheap on the other team whether it's a foul, a shove, or what not.

Both KG and Amare are emotional players. They are not punks. Players and Fans who like the proper Grant Hill, Steve Nash, Duncan, tailored professional wont get guys like Amare, Garnett, IVerson etc..... They wear their emotions on their sleeves and play with fire. If they dont play with fire they dont play well.

You get two fiery guys guarding each other and their is bound to be chippiness. Amare and Garnett respect each other immensely.

are you really surprised that KG is a prick? he called Dwight Howard lazy and Dwight Howard has had morem responsibility at 22 that KG ever did. KG is a good hof player but as for me he will always be the guy that went 1-7 in the playoffs. I dont care how many bad players he had on his team.

Well said, exactly right. I was at the game tonight (and every game, heh) and you can see they respect each other but are in the heat of battle and are playing to win. Neither are punks.

I'll tell you who are punks though...Kendrick Perkins and Glen Davis. Maybe they're not punks, maybe dirty is the better word.

Pieces of crap.

Give KG a break. He was bitter. He knew he blew his chance of winning a championship in his career by unable to come to Suns for Marion, instead of Shaq. With Shaq, Suns will win the title for 3 straight years!
