don't feel down so much, in the long run Kidd leaving the Nets will pay off.

I'd feel (Please Use More Appropriate Word) for him, what kind of an ass walks away from a team that will compete for a title for the next 7 years?

I know, Kobe is such an idiot for leaving. I bet he's regretting it right now, freezing his ass off in Chicago. Oh wait a minute

I wouldn't hate him: I would be deeply sad and new Kobe's team would probably become my 2nd favorite team, after the Lakers.

I actually heard his making his own videos "When stars gone wild in parking lots" . Staring himself , Britney Spears , P Hilton , and Vince Vahun .
You can down load it for .99 Cents .
Oh and he has the Kobe video guys directing it .
And his biggest sales have been in Chicago , actually his only sales have been in Chicago.

I find it borderline disturbing when people are fans of players as opposed to teams. I mean, what will these people do when their man-crushes retire?

dude everyone is a fan of a player. all of that talk about it being about the name on the front of the jersey is bullcrap. players make franchises great, not the other way around. do you really think the lakers would have as many fans as they do now,if they had the clippers personel in the past instead of magic, worthy, capt, kobe, and shaq?

I have to disagree you here. I was raised to love the Lakers, not because of the players that played for the Lakers, but because they represent LA. when we had that dry spell in the 90's my loyalty to the Lakers never wavered even if Vlade Divacs was our main man (notice I didn't even call him a superstar).

interesting that you mentioned the Clippers. when they finished with a better record than the Lakers after shaq left and people were jumping on the Clippers, Brand, and Caman bandwagons I watched only 4 Clipper games that season and yes they were against the Lakers. I also watched most of the Lakers games that season and would have done so with Kobe or without Kobe.

i wouldnt mind if Kobe left and we got good players in return because i really dislike Kobe as a person. However i would be gutted if he left in free agency or in Kwame Brown trade style situation.

I would think that kobe was legally insane if he left this team. he doesn't really have a better chnace to win anywhere else.

I'm just curious, when Kobe publicly states that he's happy here, that he's done playing GM, that Bynum has become the player that he's prayed for, that it's Christmas everyday playing with these guys...

Can't we give this a rest? Everybody else has. Everybody's moved on.

Dude is playing his ass off with a busted finger so that he could bring a championship to L.A. this year.

That deserves a little more respect than speculating how much you'd hate him if he leaves.

And what's with this discussion of player versus team? Kobe is a Laker. Is there any indication otherwise?

We're watching history in the making here. It's what we've all been waiting for. Let's enjoy it.

Snaq gets it. THIS is what the game is all about.
