I'm just wondering why his stats are like Kwame's when his whole appeal is that he's a big body that can score some points and crash the boards. He played fewer minutes than before so it's more difficult to interpret, but still. Average on D at best.

Yeah you hit it on the head. Lawrence Frank was not playing him as much, he was playing Boone, Williams (who is really good), Kristic (when Healthy), Allen, etc but barely played Maglore from what I seen. At times I think he can be a servicable big man, I guess it depends on what type of situation he is in. Yeah he isn't a great defender but he is 6 fouls and against guys like Shaq in the playoffs if we face them he is a guy that can come in and do those things.

We have full 15 man roster. Mbenga and Kobe are signed for the season. No way the Lakers sign anyone else and cut one of those two because it basically costs double. This is our roster.

Magloire might be better option than DJ at this point

no he wouldn't. Mbenga was brought in strictly because he can block shots, magloire can't do anything.

Who?? Magloire, come on...

Looks like we have nothing else to talk about on the Lakers forum, all is quiet, we have come down to talking about Magloire and DJ. WTF??

j/k I think we are good at this point and DJ is a good enough backup for us. None would really impact the team.

He really hurt himself in his chance of reviving himself in New Jersey, he didn't he would not look to rebound, he would try to hard to play on offense and he's no offensive player.
