Cassell Might Be Bought Out

Post#1 » by texasholdem » Sat Feb 23, 2008 7:21 pm

Bring Sammy home.
Webber, Kidd and Cassell return to original teams.
Party like it's 1994.

FYI: A free agent must sign with a team by March 1 to be eligible for the playoffs (1 week from today!)

The only way Cassell comes to Houston is if we give him season passes to Spacecenter Houston.

From what I've read, he's going to be a Celtic.

Rockets are playing better than the Celtics are right now.
There is that whole awkwardness with him decapitating Rajon Rondo.
and the 30 degree temp in Boston can't be good for his injured wrist.

lol, I forgot about that. Sam had some bad intentions on that play. The reports written about him becoming a Celtic were before that game happened, so I guess it's out in the open again.

Give him whatever minutes they are/were hoping to give Brent Barry.
Sammy can play some backup two guard.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't wind up in Boston.

texasholdem, were playing better than every team in the league right now with probably the Lakers coming a close second. But there's a big difference between us and Boston, their in the East. They've got Detroit and maybe Cleveland to contend with. We've got everyone. Last night Bill Walton said we're one of the 6 teams that could represent the West and I agree with that, but I'd put us at the bottom of that list.

Not only do the Celtics have a better chance of making the NBA finals, but Sam will also get more playing time with House potentially getting more minutes at SG.

Amen. When he said it, I wondered if I'd just taken shrooms or something.

I'd prefer him over Bobby Jackson frankly, but with acquiring him, I don't think we are looking at him as much as we would have before, and Boston is a much better situation for him.

Are you folks trying to kill the television rating in Houston? Look at
Casell, man. Just look at him. Imagine you are eating dinner while
the game is ON.

Please, do no put your appeptide at risk.

With NASA in Houston, we're used to his kind. Or at least I am.

Anyway, he's a better option for us than Aaron Brooks right now.

E.T. phone home!

Celtics are looking into Brent Barry
so if they get him then they won't be able to get Sam too.
