Shaq Says: "Suns is the best team he has ever played on

Post#1 » by shobe_81 » Sun Feb 24, 2008 6:51 am

"Kobe is the best player in the NBA"
"Wade is the best player in the NBA"
"Pat Riley is the best coach I've ever had"
"Nash Is the best PG I've ever played with"
"Amare is the best Big in the NBA"

And

"This Suns team is the best team I've ever been on, before it was a 1 two punch, now it's a 1,2,3 umm *swipes arm in a punching motion*"

What's next he will claim/say? "This is the best Wife I've ever had?" :dontknow:

well most of those are true. wades not the best right now but no one can deny he was balling in the finals. pat riley... whose knows? maybe he really feels that way. kobes the best, corrreect, nash if the best pg hes ever played with... correct, amare is the best big, that one is highly arguable with duncan, kg, etc. and suns being the best team hes ever been on is also true in terms of talent, team chemistry.

Yea but the Guy has played 2 GAMES so far with the Suns, does he not remember the 3peat days? the 66/68 Wins? The 15-1 Run for Championship in the playoffs

To me he seems like a very 2-faced type of person!

I mean this is probably the team with the most all around talent hes ever played on.

Nash is almost as good a point guard as Wade is a shooting guard and he has never, ever played with a power forward like Amare. And Hill, Barbosa, Diaw and Bell are all a better supporting cast then he had with the Heat and maybe even the Lakers.

Just wait til they get bounced in May

Oh yeah, he usually waits til he leaves the team, so maybe another year after that

thats why i said in terms of talent and team chemistry prior to his arrival.

when shaq arrived in LA he and kobe were the main reason why they went 15-1 and had those 3 peat seasons. shaq was the clear mvp of that team. now shaq joins a team that has 2 time mvp nash, and a potential mvp in amare. im just saying that shaq is going to the best team hes ever been on prior to his arrival.

His Laker teams were actually contending. Supporting cast are only graded when they show up in the finals. It would premature to letter better supporting cast members until those in question have been tot he dance.

Well, I am a shaq fan to this day. To assert the he was the clear MVP during the 3 peat, I would disagree. Take into consderation of the last 2 titles and factor in the regular season and to many parts of the playoffs then there is someone else who would get consideration.....

Too bad for the Suns, that they are getting the WORST Shaq ever!

Oh, and I GUESS THEY WILL WIN AT LEAST THREE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN A ROW

hehe, an 11 page thread about a couple sentences Shaq utters to the phoenix media following a game where amare kicks KG's butt and all shaq has seen is the best consistent stretch amare has ever played. followed by another thread about shaq's view of his new team's talent.

the realgm infatuation with the suns and shaq continues. fun interesting team, fun interesting player.

Again, of course he thinks this, but the finals and championship teams he was on are still superior.

Well it is probably the best team (outside of him) that he's ever played on. Unfortunalty he's not the same player he was 8 years ago so it's not close to the Lakers teams. Throw a younger Shaw on the suns though, and wow.

Do you mean the General Board? Because if you just mean RealGM, well I figure there are Suns threads on the Suns board pretty regularly, by definition. ;)

realgm and the nba LOVE talking suns basketball, been that way since your 2XMVP signed on. just admit it realgmers, without the suns, you are at a loss for things to discuss...
