The big T. Green trade....

Rockets fan,but also love the NBA.
I really like Green and think some of you are missing the big picture.
He's a player who will matchup w/the small,quick backup points on other teams-Brooks(Hou),Farmar(LA),etc and who can pose a problem for the slower reserve PGs(Vaughn,SA). You got a young point,who knows how to play w/a talented team,who's willing to play D and is enough of a shooting threat that he can't be left alone-and he's cheap(in NBA terms). What's not to like in a reserve,who has potential for growth,esp since you only gave up a bench player who couldn't crack your rotation?
I can understand getting tic'd because you didn't get Artest or one of the Millers-but neither did anybody else.

If he someday/someway cracks the rotation I can see it happening now:
- He has a big game, decent defense, 20 points, 4/4 from downtown...
- He starts. Something like a Green/Iverson/Linas "Boki Nachbar II" Kleiza/Anthony/Camby (with Trashkins as the 6th man).
- The next 10 games he plays decent/above average games back and forth. Some Iverson/Melo fan on this board gets tired of the Civil Wars and starts a thread on the general forum along those lines "IZ T.GREEN A TOP 5 PG ON THIS LEAGUE?"
- Then he starts to make stupid mistakes, the 3's doesn't rain that easily and starts to get eaten alive on the defense
- He goes to Karl's crib on thanksgiving to eat the turkey. Coby Karl looks jealous at him. "OMFG, he's a scrub like me, well, a lil better, but he's STARTING on a playoff team, the Nuggets". Green looks back, envious "Oh! Coby knows what it's like to be in the second round of the postseason! And further! Lucky motha...". Still, he makes Coby his friend
- Everybody gets tired of him, he becomes a recurrent joke, but Karl can't bench him. "I can't do that to my son's friend. He's a fighter. And look at him... how cute is he? He has the perfect size on a man, he's 6 feet tall!! Damn it, JR, to the bench right now!!! How many times did I told you that I don't want you to make stupid shots, I don't care you make 6 treys in a row, why do you go fot the seventh, you stupid! No more threes! Against the zone, we need an ISO. An ISO. If it's too packed, like 6 players on it, pass it to Camby, he's the one who shoots jumpers here"
A division rival, who is in young'n mode, would never trade us a starter/6th/7th/8th man for Von Wafer unless they're
