Phoenix b4 the shaq trade, in terms of rebounding and everything, i just felt they really needed shaq to really provide them with real leadership and experience, also them signing shaq provided them with the little things they needed to really take them over the top as a team
Nets - need i say more, this team might be a well rounded team but in reality anybody from the coaching staff to there star players, dont have the mentality to compete everynight, lets see if this changes when harris finally suits -->firefrank.com<--
Nuggets - They have too much talent to be where they are right now, for some reason they just cant seem to play defense
Mavericks - with the kidd signing they are really gonna miss players like diop, hassel and harris, all players who can defend at there positions, also the kidd signing shows that they just have no faith in dirks leadership skills, they will lack inside and outside d in trading for kidd, i dont think the team is better in anyway at all
Raptors - Too perimter oriented, not great at rebounding and is terrible at doubling players when they get hot. Offensively they can be a much better team if they decided to mix it up some more, i'm sure u saw mitchell telling jamario to "drive the ball". On Offense all this team needs is a player who has the ability to do something else other than shoot and who isnt afraid to attack the defense, they already are close to last on ft attempts as a team, what happens if bosh goes down and doesnt avg 11 ft's a game or more?? . They mix it up on offense they can be a threat, there rebounding issues has to improve, there defens on bigs is solid, there outside defense on wing players and help defense seems almost non existent at times, 2 very important areas they must focus on b4 they can take the next step to being a better team.
i will post more thoughts on other teams later on when i think of more

I still have to understand wtf mean "soft" in basketball.
If my team win and even reach semifinals or finals playing 5 guards and shooting 30 threes per game, who cares about rebounds, inside presence etc ?
Can someone tell me which team is "no soft" or whatever ?
From what I see the 90% of the top NBA teams can be labelled with the "soft" mark, using these "softiness standards" ...

I'm sorry but the Raptors are the softest team in the NBA. No one will ever stand up for another player if he gets pushed or hit hard... We let anyone score in the paint against us because we have no interior defense. On offense, we only have Bosh who drives towards the basket. I think the Raptors are on pace to set the record for the least FT's attempted in NBA history. Some of the other teams listed just play small ball. I wouldn't call GS soft at all actually. Jackson and Baron just don't give me the image of soft when I think of them
