I personally like the idea of having
Rose/Oden then i do Wade/Beasley or Wade/Rose..

There would have to be some players threw in i know.. but i just think that for the best interest of the franchise.. Wade must be traded for a Bynum or Oden to get the team an inside presence that Riley needs..

Oden, Roy, Outlaw, rights to Rudy Fernandez, 2 first round picks, and then we'll start talking. :)

No way. Oden is unproven, injury ridden, overweight, overhyped big.

And even if I thought Oden was the real deal, a big hell to the no to that trade. Wade is going to stick around with us, for a while.

Hmmm.... trade a perrenial all-star, NBA champion, Finals MVP, top 5 player (when healthy), in his prime, for a guy who has yet to play a single minute in the league? I'm thinking no.

How about Haslem-Banks-Smush for AL Harrigton and Mikeal Petrius (4 years 12 million)

C-Blount-Brook Lopez(3 overall pick)
PF-AL-Alexander johnson
SF-Marion-Dorrel
SG-Wade-Petrius
PG-DanielGibson(Full MLE)-Resign J-Will (minium)-Quinn

That team would be able to run aswell as shot the rock. AL-Marion can switch position at any point aswell as have a missmatch all game. With Petrius,Gibson you have shooters and Brook Lopez would be our Future Center as the backup. Alout of youth and Defense on that team. What you guys think.

Gibson is more of a sg playing pg. For the MLE id see if we can steal a better player, Childless would be a better option i think but ATL would match mostlikely

Maybe they will but don't be too sure. They have Mike Bibby on the books now, they have to re-up Josh Smith and have extensions due on Marvin Williams next season and Acie Law and Al Hortford in a couple of years.

That is why Bibson is the perfect fit. He is a top notch shooter from the outside. Has good size and does not need the ball to be affective. Wade needs the ball and for the most part the Pg is the guy who brings it up to half court and then gives it off to wade. We dont need a chris paul(even tho i would want him) but rather a PG that can defend, young and is a good shooter.

I want gibson also and i bet that he would be our #1 target but the fact remains that i doubt cle will let him go....even at the full MLE..they seem desperate to build a winner around lebron

Well the irony is we may have our own version of Gibson in Cook. If the idea is to put a shooter around Wade, why go after a pg when we should target SG that can handle the ball, kinda like a combo guard but with size. All he would have to do is bring the ball up then pass it to Wade and let Wade create shots for the team.

If we can get Gibson for the MLE, then that must mean he's not worth the MLE. Lebron is the SF version of Wade (playmaker, ballhandler, offense runs through his iso's etc). What Wade needs at PG should be what LeBron needs at PG, a guy who can bring the ball up and make shots. If Cleveland doesn't want him, surely there must be something wrong with him.

Here is what I would do IF I was GM:

First off I would sit Wade for the rest of the season. Let him rest till the Olympics, so he is not prone to an injury or anything. After the Olympics, rest until the season.

I would not even think about resiging either JWill or Ricky Davis, let them walk.

*On draft night, I would pull a BLOCKBUSTER trade that would alter the franchise.

Mia Gets:
Elton Brand
Corey Maggette

Clippers Get:
MIA 08 Lottery pick
Shawn Marion
(Filler- Haslem or Blount if needed)

(I may eat crow but I just feel that Marion isnt a great fit here in Miami.)

Reasoning behind the trade is pretty simple, Brand gives the Heat a legit low post option and has ties with both Wade and Riley. Maggette gives the Heat another good SF to play along side Wade.

*In the 2nd round of the NBA draft the Miami Heat Select Joey Dorsey PF/C from Memphis.

PUT Udonis Haslem on the trade block. (I love the guy but he is undersized and is a better fit next to a big center like he was here for Shaq.)

IN FREE AGENCY:

**Sign Dasanga Diop (forgive the spelling)- Diop is a big that can block shots and rebound the basketball.

**Sign JCN- JCN gives the Heat a good backup type guard that can play along side Wade and help spead the floor with his shooting ability.

**Resign DWright to a reasonable deal.

Next years lineup:
PG: Banks / JCN / Quinn
SG: Wade / Cook
SF: Maggette / Wright
PF: Brand / Dorsey / Johnson
C: Diop / Blount / Joel Anthony or Earl Barron

To me, that is a NBA title contending team next year especially if Wade and Brand are 100%.

Banks and JCN can handle the PG position especially along side a guy like Wade. Maggette gives the Heat another penetrator that can get to the line but also shoot the 3 better than a guy like Marion. Brand is an MVP type player when healthy and would be the perfect low post threat for this team. Diop would give the Heat a anchor in the middle of the floor that would help Brand DOMINATE the paint.
(We also would have a great bench, Cook and Wright would lead the bench with guys like Blount and Joey Dorsey.)

What do HEAT FANS think?????

Wade is the corner stone of the Heat and if you're building the team around him, do not sit him. What Wade needs to do to avoid being exhausted is to minimize the one-on-one moves or carrying the entire load. Miami needs Wade to play to develop chemistry with the other players. I hope he use this season to develop his defense because that

With the deadline passing and the retooling thread in place, this is now redundant.
