Barry's at the top of my list currently. I find it hard to believe he'll end up in Boston though.

I would love to get Barry. From all the rumors out there, Danny has made an offer, but so have the Suns, Spurs, Mavs and Rockets, all of which are playoff teams and possible contenders. He would have to wait 30 days to rejoin the Spurs, which may steer him away from them. The other 3 teams are all in the West and the big question will be whether he wants to come East or stay in the West. Suns may have the best shot.

He will make his choice by tomorrow or Tuesday. Cassell may or may not get bought out and may or may not want to come to the Celtics. Starting for the Cavs may trump coming off the bench in Boston.

Going to be an interesting week, that is for sure.

One thing I wanted to point out, is that the Cassell situation could affect our interest in Barry. If Barry chooses to sign elsewhere, it will not necessarily be becasue he likes other teams better, but because we don't show as much interest as other teams, since we are waiting for Cassell.

Of course I could be wrong, and Danny wants to sign Barry more than Cassell. Or we just go hard after both of them and try to get them both.

i'd rather have cassell

but im glad Danny isn't putting all his eggs into the cassell basket because that situation is far from solid
