in the big free agency this year? Or someone like Iggy. Or have we not cleared enough cap room yet.

The cap this year is $55 million? With Krstic's contract and if we sign Diop along with 2, possibly 3 draft picks if Dallas doesn't make it, we might not.

There's a possibility that we could be right under the cap that we might not even get an MLE to spend this offseason.

Exactly. I see contract extensions, draft, and a possible trade for future cap relief.

If someone is out there worth moving the picks for i say go for it but if not, draft wisely, extend Krstic and HOPEFULLY Big Diop. Otherwise, I think Rod and Kiki will use those picks as chips to make moves via trade.

Free agency...who would help us? We don't need any bigs.

And we don't need Andre Igoudala...Richard Jefferson is a far better player, RJ is a scorer hands down!!

JO or Brand will be discussed this summer you can count on that. Like Rich's post that is how we will be moving this year. The point is too have the cap space available when LB, Wade are FA's.
The "Turnpike" deserve a NBA championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 2010 yes maybe Lebron and Wade can sign like the way Boston aquired allen and KG,

why?
1) money
2)the move to Brooklyn

No, I don't see anyone that appealing. Maybe Brand but that's about it. Also we need some cap for 2010.

The only possibility is Elton Brand thats it, otherwise we're gonna stay put on the current plan- preparing for the 2010 FA class.

Elton Brand is only a possibility in a Sign and Trade deal with the Clippers...

If we had moved Carter for expirings before the trade deadline, we could have made a serious run at him... but it's not really a possibility anymore.

First of all, Lebron and wades respective teams can offer more money than we can. Second, KG and Allen were acquired from trades, Boston didn't ''sign'' either of em and lastly what the hell is there in Brooklyn that people automatically assume they'd sign with us. Yeah the team would be in NYC but really, you think Lebron would take on the hatred of many fans(not only Cleveland) just because Jay Z owns 1% of this team...
