Who's the best offensive team in the leauge?
Last couple years I've been picking the Suns but I gotta go with the Lakers because of Gasol.
They've been averaging 112 PPG in January (the month Gasol came in).
Gasol finally brings in that second option that Kobe needed to take pressure off of him.
They got the triangle which is probably the most reliable offense in basketball, even if all your guys aren't having the best days the triangle will still get you easy buckets.
-arguably best offensive coach in the game
-Best Scorer in the game
-2nd option getting 22 PPG on 65% shooting
-3rd option 15 PPG on 65% shooting since Gasol came in
-Bynum is still one of the leauge leaders in dunks despite not playing the past month, Bynum was shooting 64% before he went down
-Radmonovic, Vujacic, Fisher all shooting 40% or more from 3, Farmar shooting a little below
Sure the Suns average more PPG but they play a fast pace and get alot of fastbreak points that won't be there come playoff time.

I agree in that context, the pistons are extremely effecient.
I do think that the lakers are the best offensive team if you consider effeciency, and total output, and differential

Ability, is all that really matters, to me, in terms of success (already there or favor to) and playing the game...
Lakers, Jazz, Spurs, Pistons, Celtics
Entertainment-wise: Warriors, Lakers, Jazz, Spurs, Suns, Celtics, Wizards (when healthy), Nuggets (when going well). Some ahead of others, others with not much seperation.
