Channing Frye?

Post#1 » by Goldbum » Mon Feb 25, 2008 1:01 am

Honestly WTF? Why is Raef playing and Frye sitting, is he hurt? Is he dogging it in practice? What's really going on?

Oh come on. Channing almost always plays well when he plays, he hustles, he hits shots....gimme a break. There's so many Channing Frye haters on these boards.

Nate played Raef because he thought
he would do better against the Celtics
physical play then Channing would.. .

Hmm, I'm not hating on Frye, but that is very telling, at least to me.

I actually thought Raef played pretty well.. Even if he cant get a rebound, he will at least try to get a hand on it and tip it to a teammate who can get it. Thats a very good intangible that too few people have anymore

Wasn't 'Raef 'dumped' from Boston so Nate may've been trying to get Raef's vendetta juices flowing?

As a Knick, Frye had a surprising number of good defensive games against Garnett. Maybe Nate will reciprocate and give Frye some burn on the road trip to New York.

i thougth rafe did pretty well tonight he got a few steal even tho they where basicly passed to him but still a steal is a steal. maybe i jsut think he did well because i havebeen a rafe fan for awhile and always put him on the blazers in nba live 2002 or something
