Tonight at midnight you may start posting trades. A few rule changes are being put into place:

4) Roster Pages --> plz follow the format given to you in the e-mail, and keep pictures SMALL! Once a trade has been approved by the league office, you must update your roster page ASAP. Failure to do so within 48 hours will lead to a notice, and a 3 strikes rule will be applied. Third strike, and I'm sorry, your roster spot is heading to another team. If you don't have time to update a few specifics, at least update the players you have on your team, and their salaries.

5) Trades --> when posting trades, PLZ include the math if you don't have a trade checker link. This will make my life, as well as clydestudent's life much easier when accepting trades. After some confusing about draft picks, I have come to the decision that you MAY trade draft picks in consecutive years. But what you cannot do is trade draft picks more than once, with different protections.

Model Trade Post (assume that the Trade Checker doesn't apply to this trade):

Atlanta Trades/Boston Receives:
Mario West ($427,163)

Boston Trades/Atlanta Receives:
Glen Davis ($427,163)

427.163x1.25 = 533.953>427.163 (form doesn't matter, can be in hundreds, hundred thousands, millions or even dollars)

Atlanta GM accepts.

6) The game's about fun --> people recently have been uptight and have gotten angry pretty easily. Remember guys, it's a game. We are not going to be able to simulate the NBA in every way, but we'd like to make it realistic for the sake of showing you guys how it is to have the power in your hands. Make trades, have fun negotiating, meet new people and just enjoy the game. It should be taking about 30-45 minutes out of your day on average if you are looking for changes on your ball club. If that's too much to ask then you don't have to participate, and I don't mean that in a bad way.

Also, from now on, I will be sending everyone activity checks, making sure you are active. GMs that aren't active will be given a warning, and if it occurs again your place will be taken in the game.

btw, bcortell, at midnight, you will take over as the Denver GM as well.

we've used shamsports.com since the beginning so that's what we use, and hoopshype has it the same as shamsports

Hey, can we get an activity update from the Kings' GM? I see he's posted recently on realgm, but I've sent him some emails recently and I've gotten no responses. Same with the Knicks GM, we were in negotiations, but he hasn't emailed me back for a couple of days.

Miami's GM brings up a good point, I've found out that a lot of the hotmail users apparently receive our emails in their junk mail or spam filter, so I get a lot of mail sent back to me saying it wasnt delivered, so its very frustrating indeed.

question: are we allowed to trade for players that were on our team originally, or are we barred from that like real NBA rules?

ex. Portland proposing a trade to re-acquire a former player like Przybilla or Outlaw, etc etc.

yea i remember when we were talking trade i didnt get your emails in my hotmail.

also yes a team can reaquire their players as far as i know....i did it in the last one so i dont see any reason why it would be changed and im pretty sure some ppl have already done it here.
