On the first point I do think Sam might have helpred last night, but I think it could have also been remedied by sitting Ray and putting rondo in and letting him try to generate offense.
On the offensive rebounding point, to me its philosophy as much as anything. I think we could be a great o-board team if we chose to but Doc rather get back esp against the Suns.

Oddly, the team has not adjusted as quickly to Garnett coming back as they did to him being out. When he went out, others stepped up.
Exactly the point I was thinking. Everyone had to step up, and now are unsure how to drop back again to being role players, even Pierce and Allen.
Both had stepped up for huge games when Garnett was out, and the role players became starters.
Now everyone has to get back in sync, and at the same time KG has to shake off the rust.

It wasn't just PP and RA, it was every player all the way down to the end of the bench, they all threw up rocks, no rotation, little arc, wide of the basket (Posey), ugly, just ugly.
I'm not a believer in conspiracies but that said, I think the Commissioner needs an investigation into the Suns organization, I think something like the Patriots taping event occurred here, I think the Suns dancers maybe hypnotized the shooters or maybe the Suns organization sprayed some ether into the ventilation system of the C's locker room.
Someone should have been able to make an open shot.
Conspiracy, I think so.

They left the comforts of Home and the Eastern JV conference, and went to play with the Big boys, and so far they've had they're hat handed to them. Both of their weaknesses have been greatly exposed, NO CENTER, NO POINT GUARD, END OF STORY! I think the Piston who I am not a fan of will do a much better job on national tv. In fact, I am predicting the Pistons will beat them from start to finish. But I state this as opinion not fact.

72-10 lives forever, like Dimaggio's 56
Too bad they don't have an IQ test for people to be allowed to post on here. Every franchise has had at least a 3 game losing streak during the season.

What I'm worried about here is how we have been getting outrebounded lately....
We need a much better effort in postseason if we are going to get anywhere...
We may well win the last two games of this trip and if we do, all the concerns will likely disappear....
But I'm worried about our "small ball" tendancy's....and the effect it will have on us if we can't play "big" in postseason....I think we need to establish that we can play big and hold onto that philosophy with the postseason in mind....
Back when we were blowing teams out earlier, it was the stellar play of our bigs underneath that was getting it done....that seems to have gone away of late along with our dominance!
I hope that identity returns!....I hate to think of us relying again on Paul Pierce ISOs and three point shots at the ends of playoff games...

You mean the big boys that we're 16-3 against? Detroit who we've already beaten?
Crawl back into your hole you stupid troll.

I said before the game the Pistons would beat the Suns from start to finish, obviously I'm not that stupid. The only one on these boards that I would consider stupid are those who can't express themselves without name calling, obviously you have no knowledge of the game. Anyone with a working knowledge of the NBA can clearly see the Pistons are the class of the conference right now.

I do not have a working knowledge of the NBA. It's far too complicated for me. All those rules! What are the lines on the court for?
All I can do is read the standings. They say the Celtics are the best team in the league and Detroit is second best.
Obviously the standings are not correct. It's all a ruse. I now understand that the second best team is the best, the best team is not as good, and actual wins mean nothing compared to the unparalleled vision of those with working knowledge.

didnt every team in the league have a 3 game losing streak before this point? wow, what a surprise, everyone plays well sometimes, everyone plays less than their best sometimes, and every team can possibly lose!
i didnt know, its a real competition after all!
