Petrie's draft record + the # of quality PG's in this draft + the 10-20 range in which we'll draft = a VERY good PG for the future for the Kings.

As for the rebounding Big that's either gonna have to A) Come via trade, B) Come in the 2009 Draft or C) Shelden Williams figuring out the league and panning out.

If any of those happen, the future looks bright for Sacramento IMO.

We better not draft Collison, he's a bust waiting to happen. I hope Russel Westbrook declares though, I really like his game. I'd be happy with Ty Lawson also though. But Shelden needs to get more PT so we can see what sort of future he has with us. If he has potential or if he'll be a bench guy for the rest of his career. If he doesn't seem to be our PF of the future I think I'd just go ahead and take a chance on Arthur.

Games like this last 1 versus Orlando IMO show why Beno's not our PG of the future.

I think getting a PF is just as likely, if not more likely than a PG in this years draft. Moreso because PF is definitely our least talented position, and the depth of bigs in this draft is quite good.

I dunno, I want to see what Shelden can do in actual amount of playing time before we do that. Because if he can be our PF of the future, that pick could be better spent on a PG. But if it's apparent he has no shot at that, I think I'd just take Arthur and get it over with because we've needed a PF forever.

I think getting a big man is more likely simply because that seems to be the most dominant position this draft, depending on who declares of course.
