What are your guy's thoughts on this guy?

He is a sophomore and I do not believe that he will be declaring for the draft, but maybe next year. He is averaging 16.3 points, 3.2 Assist, and 3.0 rebounds a game this year, but he has been struggling has of the past three games.

Likely won't happen, but lets say he actually does declare for the draft where do you guys think he is going to be picked? If he stays in college for a year or two more where do you think he will be drafted.

Shoots too many three's for me. I would pick him in the early to mid second round.

I think he should've went to Georgetown. He's from Herndon, VA and Georgetown was pursuing him hard. He'll never get the attention at Nove that he would have received at GT.

 J.R. Holden-esque.

Would be an Eddie House type in the NBA.

um, he plays in the big east, not the a-10. he gets pub. i mean, he was only the BE fresh of the year last year. Villanova is widely recognized as Guard U. Nova puts guards to the nba, gtown doesnt.

He can score man, big time scorer. Great shooter when he's on. Too slow though, bad defender.

nova put two guards in the first round two years ago, when was the last time gtown did that.?

He's yet another scoring point guard.

I think his stock has actually gone down this year because he's spent considerably more time in the off-guard position, and he has yet to show he can effectively run an offense. Obviously not much room in the league for 6'2" SG.

I'm not too worried about him shooting 3's too often though. If you watch him, he's fully capable of putting points on the bored in a wide variety of ways.

Anyway, I see him a little as an in-between guard similar to another Villanova alum Randy Foye. The only problem is Reynolds is shorter and not the athlete Foye is, which doesn't bode well for him.

Going to 'Nova I've seen him play quite a bit, he just doesn't strike me as NBA material. It's his quickness more than anything that is questionable, if his perimeter game is off he struggles to get the job done. Players like Foye and Lowry are much more adept at getting to the rim...

Yea, seriously.

Since when was Villanova some small-time program? They were on national TV 2 out of the last 3 days (Saturday and Monday)... ummm.... what was that guy talking about?

He's not nearly as quick as Eddie House.

He's like the 3rd best NBA prospect on his own team. Solid Euro career definitely.

I'd be shocked if he gets drafted at all.

He's only at VU because Georgetown didn't have a scholarship for him at the time he decommitted to OU. JTIII could have forced somebody out to free up a 'ship for him, but he's above that. Jay Wright on the other hand forced an already qualified Malcolm Grant to prep a year so Scottie could be the one to take the scholarship vacated by Lowry rather than him. Now Grant and Scottie are fighting, Grant's rumored to be transfering despite clearly having a lot of talent, and Nova is suffering for it.

I don't think Scottie is an NBA player. He shoots--A LOT--and needs to to be effective. The NBA is not really the place for 5'11 volume shooters.

dont be hasty lights out. im not hasty towards gtown. i t hink scotty is too light skinned for jt3's likening anyway. when was the last time gtown sent a guard to the league? AI? just a fact.

nova starting fresh fresh soph jr jr and fresh is first off the bench. they are struggling bc they are young, not because of grant. Grant isn't good enough to play on this team right now.
wright and jt3 are two of the classiest coaches in the country. dont say things that look silly.

fyi he wasnt a chuck till jay wright told him to let loose and chuck.. he was playing pass-first till wright realized (last year) he had to chuck in order to give nova a chance.. if he stayed this way in the nba, hed have no shot, but he does have some true PG in him.. fisher, stokes and maybe even cunningham are better prospects though, unless he can truly run the 1
