I told you so. Sorry. I just wanted to point out that when everyone was hyping up the Blazers as being the next dynasty I guaranteed that they wouldn't make the playoffs and that their winning streak was a fluke.

Yeah that was premature.

Things change pretty fast so it was dumb to overexeggerate things early. Just like people were saying that Celtics will definitely win 70 games after only like 20 games.

But Portland has a nice future.

Blazer fan here

No. That's the simple answer. Portland played above their heads early on. Portland is a jump shooting team that can't shoot, except for the month of December. Roy and Aldridge are our only legitimate starters, while Blake, Joel and Webster should all come off the bench. Our coach has no idea how to run an offense, and has a lov eaffair with Jarrett Jack.

Portland has a great chance to be a very good team for a long time with Oden, Rudy Fernandez, and most likely a pick around 10 this year. As for right now we aren't very good.

nah, they're 29-27. they need 11 more wins in the last 26. it'll be close. they're 3-8 this month and with roy hurt they're staring a 4-10 record in the face (lal, lac, lal next 3).

They only have 29 wins right now. They have to win 11 out of 27 to make it to 40. A lock? With how poorly they've been playing and with Roy now day to day, it's far from a lock.

The loss of James Jones has been absolutely killer for Portland. Without having him to spread out the floor, the Blazers offense gets really stagnant and predictable.

God...don't you people GET it?

Portland is tanking...duh.

December they came out and played like they normally would, to show that they're an amazing team. Now KP has them pretending to play like early 20 year olds and faking injuries so that they drop down to mid lottery.

Then, following a new draft day record, 13 trades, Kevin Pritch slaps cleveland and brins in Lebron.

Its pretty obvious when you think about it
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

Maybe, but Portland's good run was definitely a fluke. The teams they played were horrible.
