Looking at the Denver game, the team is adjusting great to playing without Bynum. Looking to get Kwame involved by drawing the double team attacking the basket and dishing to kwame for the easy two.
.600 is gonna be hard especially w/ back to backs... I think Phil knew this by stating this team can't win 50 games, it's a challenge as well to get over the hump and being a contender.

I predicted 54 wins for the Lakers during all the pre-season Kobe turmoil. But that was based on Odom having a breakout year at 27 (didn't happen until Gasol got here), Kwame having a monster season in a contract year (swing and a miss on that one eh?), and Bynum having a breakout season...which did happen.
What I didn't think would happen is that we would be able to get Gasol for chili beans.
It looks like we'll win somewhere between 56-60 games.
Blind Optimism or not, I'm just glad the Lakers are back where they belong.
