Warriors will only be without Jackson and Biedrins a short time - Jack will be back tomorrow and Biedrins within a week or so - and they'll be playing some lesser teams during that stretch.
I would say Warriors are more consistent than Denver. Except for about three games since the first seven without Jack, they've beaten the teams they're "supposed" to beat - plus some they're not supposed to, like LA, Boston, New Orleans, and Phoenix, and have had the best record in all of the West.
Their biggest problem is playing up and down to the competition. They need their backs to the wall to really play well - but that shouldn't be a problem in the playoff drive and in the playoffs.
Assuming they get in, they could either get knocked out in the first round, or conceivably advance to the WCF... potentially good matchups could be Dallas, Phoenix, and possibly Houston; bad matchups definitely Utah and LA, and probably San Antonio, although the Warriors have played well against them lately.
Denver has a lot of talent, but they seem to be just that - a lot of good players, thrown together, but who don't complement eachother well to bring the team to a level higher than its component parts.
Tonight Denver plays Detroit. I wouldn't at all be surprised if tomorrow night, Warriors are in in 8th and a full game up on Denver.
