I also have NO idea why the heat are losing so many games. Their roster personnel is no where indicative to what their record shows. unless if they are purposely tanking games, (possibility) but Riley and Wade alone should be good enough to have at least more than 9 wins in the east. This is kind of ridiculous. Another team that I thought would be doing much better is Atlanta. They have a very good roster, and I don't know why they really aren't as good record wise as the Cavs? Mind-boggling

Dywane Wade <--- "Hurt" but still not able to lead his team to double digit wins.

The team is full of losers, aside from marion. And poor marion seems to be buying into the losing mentality lately, his stats worsening. Wade himself is 40 percent of what he was. He settles for too many three pointers that he misses, lost his explosiveness, playmaking ability. Maybe he'll get better this offseason?

Ricky. J will, are horrible players. especially ricky d. He really can't defend, and his offensive ability is bad right now.Dorell is far too inconsistent. Mark blount is another overpaid loser. He can shoot once in a while but does no defense at all. And their bench sucks too.

I would easily take Wade's team now then what Kobe had 2 years ago when he took them to the 7th seed and almost beat the suns.

Smush Parker, Luke Walton, Lamar, Kwame. <<< J Will, ricky or dorrell wright, Marion , Blount

Can you not get your point across like a normal person, w/o ALWAYS seemingly resorting to insults and what not.

Seriously!

*Consider this a Warning.

So another poster can say "suck it haters" while not referring to any specific poster but I can't say "suck it lovers"... Now that I think about it that makes a lot of sense, it seems pretty consistent to be honest.

Sorry about that, I went back and edited my post.

Like many other posters in this thread I just find it odd that Wade has played so poorly as a #1 option with little help. People were saying he should be in the HoF after the finals performance he put on under David Stern's watchful eye, but he can't lead his team to the 10 win barrier? Come on...

Not to mention Suck it lovers is nothing compared to what Kobe (And LeBron as of late but not to the extreme) get called in other threads ... where are the warning's on those ?

It's interesting watching the Heat this year. Especially after watching the Sonics since they acquired Ray Allen.

Lets compare last years Sonics to this year's current Heat team.

PG Watson and Ridnour = Williams and Banks

SG Ray Allen < DWade (In most people's opinion)

SF Rashard Lewis < Marion

PF Wilcox = Haslem

C Collison > Blount

6th Wilkins < Davis

Plus the Sonics were missing either Ray Allen or Rashard Lewis for something like 30+ games last season, yet they still won over 30 games last year.

I simply don't see why the Heat can't win. Especially in the LEast.

Heat has better cast Smush the starter can't even crack the Heat rotation.

Edit: Wrong thread

That is why I am not sold on Pat Riley as the GOAT Coach. For a HOF coach he compiles really bad seasons. Overrated.

miamiballer wrote:the heat this yr remind me a lot of the spurs the yr they got duncan...they had a down yr and boom...hello tim duncan

if miami gets micheal besley to go along with a healthy wade next yr (he should be recovered by then) and the best role player in the league...that would be the start of something special

In the Spurs story Duncan became the best player since Day 1 over legend Robinson. Just hope Beasley is better than Wade.

superstars dont stay in the lottery for 3 straight seasons (KG)
superstars dont shoot airball freethrows in the NBA Finals (Lebron)
superstars dont shoot 38% in the Finals and lose 19 of 21 games (Kobe)

See how it easy it is to determine something on 1 negative without looking at the whole picture?

Wade is not a superstar. Hence, he should not even be scrutinized like this. We are talking about Miami Heat. Not Dwyane Wade.

Why not? Both Wade and Shaq were hurt just like Kobe and Odom were hurt. Wade still isn't healthy and it's obvious if you watched any of his games

This is not even "bad bad", this is historically bad.

They have had Marion for 5 games, not the entire season. They had Shaq who probably missed 4/5 of the games the Heat played.

Bottomline: No one can really explain why the Heat is this bad.
