DCZards and doc, this is what Eddie can do to put this team over the top.
Recognize the tremendous talent level and play guys like Dominic in roles previously unchartered. The guy can be defender against quick perimeter players, and he can distribute like a Diaw (almost), besides blocking shots. He really got UP for a key rebound late in the game. He's even made a couple shots. This kid is better than Darius. I'm glad EJ had him out there.
Darius can do what he's been doing which is hit shots and make a nifty entry pass here and there.
EJ seems to recognize now that Mason and Stevenson are just fine at Gs.
Most of all he FINALLY SEES that BRENDAN SHOULD BE IN THE GAME!
This is a loss without Haywood's hustle and effort--things formerly attributed to Etan. Eddie's playing the right C now.
Blatche's foul at the end is why BTH should be in there over him.

WoW, that was an awesome win. Even before the ending, while we were keeping it close in the 4th, all I could think of is how close most of our games have been and how good of a team we are/will be with Caron AND Gil. Tonight DSteve closed the game, but our two best closers are hurt and that's the main reason we lose all the close ones.
Jamison shot like poo, but his rebounds and steals in the end were very helpful. I was yelling for him to STOP shooting.

When EJ coaches his ass off, we notice and make it known (look at this thread, WAY the Stevenson shot). He was fantastic tonight. I even made an appearance in the EJ thread.
Yeah, but how much you want to bet that if we lost this game, a lot of you guys would be saying it was E.J.'s fault. Hands would be in here commenting out E.J. should have played Blatche more in the fourth quarter, or how E.J. should have played Mason more because he had a hot hand. I'm starting to realize that most people (but not all) on this board think that E.J. is a good coach when we win, and a horrible coach when we los

Just imagine what EJ could do with all of his weapons available.

correct me if im wrong but the 5 EJ had out there on D where
Stevenson
Jamison
Haywood
Blatche
McGuire
Ej decided to go extremely big at the end defensively..
alsoo a side note...
The last play of the first half, EJ had Jamison, Mason, Pech, and Stevenson; all shooters with AD as the point. The LAST THING that EJ would have wanted was for AD to be the one shooting a jump shot...because he did and didnt even penetrate whatsoever i believe EJ had an epiphany and realized AD just isnt cutting it.
Bottom line is EJ used his bench to his advantage and FINALLY used situational substitutions.

good win from this undermanned squad. One thing I am quite happy about is that we are giving a lot of bench players some quality time. We used to yell at EJ for not playing his bench enough. Maybe part of why he played them so little was that he didnt have confidence in the bench (I am guessing). The bench players are getting quality minutes now since we have lots of injuries. When we get into the stretch run and the playoffs, EJ will have little excuse to not play the bench if the situation calls for it.

If EJ screws up with rotations in the late stages, or if he calls a ridiculous play, we'll call him out on it, but it doesn't take away the things that were written earlier in the thread about all the good he has done.
So yeah, if he does the aforementioned, I'll certainly lay a portion of the blame on him, but understand that that blame is not about his coaching as a whole, but about a particular play that might have cost us the game.
But that's neither here nor there. We WON! Party-time!

Did DS just nail a shot to win that game.
I had to game on ( no volume ) while I was in a deep conversation with my sweetie so I missed the whole thing but saw that
DAGGGER by DS at the end.
I'm off to watch the recording.
Sweet that we won. That should do a lot for our confidence.
No CB
No GA
But like I said, we still have talent. You have to to win a game like that without those 2 players on the court - and one the road.
Just checked the box score. Dame 33 for DS
LOL. What was AJ doing 3-16 LOL and we still won. That tell you even more about this team.
GO WIZ
ILL BE BACK
